PROCESS

DeveloPress & TransferGo joined the forces to rebuild the website

Our professionals worked side by side with TransferGo’s team to achieve the goals set and contributed to the four project phases:

1. Current infrastructure assessment

  • Conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing website, identified technical constraints and performance bottlenecks.
  • Mapped TransferGo’s new design framework into reusable Gutenberg blocks.
  • Assessed the compatibility of Gutenberg with existing ACF-based content.
  • Mapped out a phased transition plan without disrupting ongoing operations.

2. Migrating to Gutenberg

  • Designed and developed over 170 custom Gutenberg blocks.
  • Built a custom WordPress plugin for TransferGo’s content structure and business logic.
  • Executed a gradual migration process, beginning with priority pages and scaling the transition site-wide.
  • Addressed conflicts between ACF and Gutenberg.

3. CMS development

  • Developed an automated system to dynamically generate 60,000 pages using structured content from Google Spreadsheets.
  • Created real-time synchronization of currency pair pages to reduce manual workload.
  • Ensured full multilingual compatibility by integrating WPML.
  • Implemented advanced metadata handling.
